What is Palm Springs Style?
This west coast destination embodies a throw back to mid-century modern living and a 1950s/60s retro glam style. When you arrive in Palm Springs you are quickly transported to a colorful and light-hearted time when the living was easy and the fashion exuded that mantra. You can easily stroll into the Parker Palm Springs with a caftan and turban and feel right at home. I've recently become obsessed with all things Palm Springs after a recent visit to attend Alt Summit. Over a thousand creatives descended onto this desert town for a week-long conference, and many of us used it as an opportunity to be "extra" with our fashion game! Because, why not?!!

A signature Palm Springs look can be achieved with a few key pieces that really make a bold statement. All of the colors of the rainbow are called for to get this look-- neutrals need not apply! The Palm Springs weather can get very hot, and caftans are perfect to keep the body cool.

Top STEALS to Get The Look:
Master the High/Low Mix:
It's all about the mix--My rule of thumb is to invest in either the main apparel or the accessories-- not ALL of them. You can totally wear a more expensive caftan and throw in a $10 pair of fun sunglasses. OR-- go for the more expensive earrings like below, and get a $25 caftan to wear with them.

Splurge-Worthy Stella Caftan: $288
(Right) Amazon "Steal" Caftan: $25
Extend Your Wardrobe with Versatile Pieces
This banana leaf duster was worn on repeat during my trip to Palm Springs. It's great as a pool coverup and also a lightweight cover over a simple dress.

With a few key pieces, you too can create your own Palm Springs inspired look.
