Easy Club Soda Biscuits

I've been seeing these viral 7-UP biscuits going around the internet, and we don't keep regular soda in our pantry. I was digging around to make some kind of bread to go with a "breakfast night" dinner for the kids-- eggs, grits, bacon, etc.

I found half a box of Bisquick in the pantry and 1 bottle of club soda and I wondered if I could make something delicious out of that. Don't you just love when a kitchen experiment turns out great??!

The kids absolutely loved these biscuits-- look at how much they rose in the pan! They are a new favorite, and I will definitely be making them again.

RECIPE:

4 C. Bisquick

1 C. Sour Cream

1 C. Club Soda

1/2 Stick Butter for the pan

Flour to dust the counter

Mix Bisquick, Sour Cream, and Club Soda together and turn out onto floured surface. Melt the butter in a 9” cake pan. Use a biscuit cutter to cut and dump biscuits. Do not twist the cutter as this method seals the edges and helps the biscuits rise. (I saw this somewhere-- this is not my tip!) Place biscuits into pan with the melted butter at the bottom.

Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Enjoy!❤️

Watch me make them!

You could also easily double this recipe to make 2 pans of biscuits.
