I get asked quite frequently about what type of foundation and concealer I use, and I'm spilling the tea on my everyday routine. Two things are really important to me: as a breast cancer survivor I always try to find products with no or low toxicity levels...and as someone moving into her fifties very soon-- good, quality skincare is super important to me. Last year I discovered True Botanicals skincare products, and I quickly fell in love.
I focus on products that prevent deep wrinkles and skin discoloration, and I'm happy to invest in really good skincare. I feel good about putting these creams and oils on my face everyday. If you're searching for more clean beauty products-- I also love products from RMS Beauty. I use their SKIN PRIMER and quite a few cosmetics like their lipsticks and eye shadows.
Today I'm sharing just the products I use to get my face prepped for my color cosmetics. I think a good foundation for your color cosmetics involves moisturizer, primer, a really good foundation, and concealer.

One of my absolute favorite products is the Skin Tint with SPF30. I don't look like a "ghost" wearing this product and it's lightweight. It has a buildable finish and I feel good about protecting my skin during regular day to day exposure to the sun while out running errands, etc.
Here's a tutorial of how I use all of these products (except the eye cream as I forgot to record that part!).
